Michelle Trahan currently serves as Secretary on the 2023 Youngsville Chamber Board of Directors. She served as Secretary in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, as well as Marketing Chair in 2018. Michelle is a proud graduate of Leadership Youngsville Class II. Michelle works as the Division Coordinator for Acadian Total Security, a division of Acadian Ambulance, since 2012. In addition to providing support for a sales team of 22, she oversees all events, trade shows, and travel as well as coordinating all promotional items and collateral. She is also the liaison between her department and Acadian’s corporate public relations team, working with them to develop advertisements, presentations, mailers, and marketing campaigns based on their strategic plan. Acadian Total Security is proud to be a sponsor at the Youngsville Sports Complex.
A native of Lafayette, Trahan is a graduate of Ovey Comeaux High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management/Marketing). Michelle was awarded the Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Management and was also a member of Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity, Phi Kappa Phi, Gamma Beta Phi, and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Societies while attending UL. Prior to joining Acadian in February of 2004, Michelle was an Office Manager for Rogers Oil Tool Services in Broussard, LA for over fifteen years.
Michelle loves to give back to her community. In 2019, she received the Community Outreach Award at Acadian for attending over 150 events representing her company. She volunteers her time and talents with the Alzheimer’s Association coordinating the Acadiana Walk to End Alzheimer’s to raise awareness and funds for a cure. She also serves as a committee member for the non-profit Sky High for Kids, which raises money to battle childhood cancer. In the past, she has also donated her time and efforts to the Broussard Community Fair and as a team mom for the Broussard Youngsville Youth Association (BYYA) for many years. She is a past member of the ESOP committee at Acadian and currently holds monthly orientation classes for new employees to acclimate them to the “Acadian Way.” Michelle coordinates a Council On Aging Conference for all Louisiana Directors annually and serves on many of our chamber committees including the banquet committee, 5K Haunted Hustle committee, and Shop the Sweet Life committee. Michelle has one daughter, Shelby, and she resides in Youngsville.
